There are lists of Indian scientists whose inventions make us feel proud.

C.V. Raman:
C.V. Raman was an Indian scientist whose discovery in the field of light scattering earned him the Nobel Prize for Physics. He discovered when there is an inelastic scattering of light the wavelength of the light changes when it is deflected by the molecules of the medium this effect is called Raman effect. Once in a while the molecules of the medium light passes through absorb or give energy to photons that strike them due to which there is increase or decrease in the frequency and energy of the light.
There is three type of scattering in Raman effect: Rayleigh Scattering,Stokes Raman Scattering,Anti-stokes scattering The discovery of Raman and Krishnan was expected to win the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1928.

Shrinivasan Ramanujan:
Ramanujan was great Indian mathematician he invented many concepts in mathematics such as Mock theta function,Ramanujan Conjectures,Ramanujan prime. His formula of infinite series used in the field of complex analysis, quantum field theory and string theory. He found an amazing formula to calculate the value of pie.
His magic square still amaze us as in it the sum of any row, column and diagonal is 139. The sum of any 2x2 is 139.The first row is special because itis Ramanuja's birth date which is 22/12/18.

Vikram Sarabhai:

Vikram Sarabhai is considered the father of India's space programme. The establishment of the Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) was one of his greatest achievements. He make India powerful in the field of space and research. The first rocket launching station was set up at Thumba near Thiruvananthapuram with the help of Homi Jehangir Bhabha. After setting up infrastructure, communication links and launch pads the inaugural flight was launched on November with a sodium vapour payload.

He takes the interview of APJ Abdul Kalam and other scientists with his support they made great inventions in the field of space and research. Vikram Sarabhai played a major role in setting up IIM Ahemdabad.

APJ Abdul Kalam:

APJ Abdul Kalam was an Indian scientist and the 11th president of India. He studied in Madras Institute of Technology in 1960 after his graduation he joined Aeronautical Development Establishment of Defence Research and Development Organization(DRDO) as a scientist. In 1969 he worked in ISRO where he made the project director of India's first indigenous satellite Launch Vehicle SLV-3.

Under mission Kalam many talented scientists developed many missiles such as AGNI which is ballistic missile and PRITHVI which is surface to surface missile. He is the supervisor of the Prokhran project during July 1992 to December 1999. He is also an inspirational source for young generation whose ideas always motivate to uplift our nation.

Jagadish Chandra Bose:

Sir Jagadiah Chandra Bose was a Bengali polymath ,physicist, biologist and archeologist. He was the first to discovered that plant has life they can sense, feel like human beings. He invented a machine called Crescograph to measure the plant response to various stimuli and later proofed that the plants can sense through electrical impulse. Bose invented the crystal radio detector, horn antenna and other equipment used at microwave frequency.

He developed a device through which signals are transmitted and received wirelessly and through the patent of his device Marconi was further credited for developing a radio. He was the first scientists in India received an American patent. In 1920 he was selected as the fellow of royal society.
