Have you face any difficulty in understanding the theory of relativity no problem here I describe it and tell you the mystery behind it.

Albert Einstein was a German physicist know for his great contribution in the field of quantum mechanics. Most of the scientist first perform experiment and then publish their theory but Einstein make theories in his mind and then perform it practically.
He gave the famous Theory of relativity it is divided into two parts.

1.Special Theory of Relativity
2.General Theory of Relativity

Special Theory of Relativity

For this, we need to understand what are various frame of reference.
1. Inertial Frame of reference: In this frame of reference the object or day travels with a constant velocity in which newton's law are valid.

2. Non Inertial Frame of reference: In the frame of reference in which body or object is accelerating and newton's law are not valid in this.

For example: When a bus goes around the curve of a road the man who does not hold any support find himself accelerating outwards. We find some violation of the Newton's law. As without any force man is accelerating.
Special Theory of Relativity is valid for inertial frame of reference it tells us about the relationship between space and time. So let's understand it by this concept.

Time dilation and space expansion

Consider you are standing on the ground and observe your friends who is driving a car at 60km/h. You found that the speed of your friend is 60km/h w.r.t. ground but a man who is sitting inside a car found that your friend is at rest w.r.to car. You also notice that when a car approaches your car in opposite direction you find that the speed of the car is more or twice than the speed of your car.

This shows that motion is relative for different frames.
Michelson Morley proofed in his experiment that the velocity of light is constant for any frame of reference and there is no object in the universe which is faster than the speed of light.
Suppose a ship which is traveling with the speed of light has a strip of light at the head of the ship so the speed of the ship becomes twice the speed of light which is not possible. Albert Einstein thought about this topic and found that the space and time get changed in order to remain speed of light constant as the nature cannot break it's fundamental law. So the time for people inside the ship gets slow down.So the time is not constant it is relative.

Consider an example, suppose a train which is traveling at the speed of light and you are observing your friend who is sitting in the train you both wear watches but the time for your friend gets slow down as compared to your time and the length of the train appears to be short but your friend who is sitting inside the train does not feel that the time slows down this all happens to remain speed of light constant so time get delayed. Your friend performed time travel and he came in future and you found that after around 50 years he was not changed but you became old.
In this theory of Relativity he gave the famous equation E =MC². In which mass is converted into energy and vice versa. Nature follows this principle in all aspects as sun has mass which is gradually converted into energy to give us light. We see many examples related this in real life. A train which is traveling with the speed of light would have infinite mass and we need infinite energy to stop this according to this equation.
